Wood Apple is a herb found in the winter season in India. Elephants like this sour taste fruit Due to which in some places it is also known as Hathi Seb. Somewhere it is also called kabit and in English it is called wood apple. So let’s learn to make its chutney

Ingredients required
Wood Apple / Kaitha – 2
Garlic – 9-10 cloves
Mustard oil – 1 tsp
Hari Mirchi – 8
Coriander leaves – ½ cup, grated
Cumin powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tsp
salt to taste
water – as needed

How to make Wood Apple/ Kaithe Ki Chutney
Step 1 – Wash the coriander leaves well and chop it finely, then clean green chilies and garlic as well.
Step 2 – Break the wood apple and take out its pulp, break the pulp into small pieces by hand.
Step 3 – Mix coriander leaves, green chilies, garlic, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder and mustard oil in this pulp of Wood apple and grind it, if you want some sweetness in it, you can also add sugar to it.
Step 4 – While grinding, add little water as required and make a fine paste out of it.
Step 5 – Now Chat pata Wood Apple Chutney is ready. You can serve it with rice.
