3rd step – Reduce the heat and let the flowers simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
4th step – After simmering, remove the pot from heat and let the tea cool for a few minutes.
5th step – Strain the tea through a sieve to remove the flowers.
6th step – add honey and lemon juice to taste. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
And Serve your delicious and refreshing blue pea tea hot or cold.
Note: The longer you steep the flowers, the deeper the blue color of the tea will be. You can also adjust the amount of flowers used depending on how strong you want the flavor to be. Additionally, you can add lemon or lime juice to the tea to change its color to a beautiful purple or pink shade.
